A person was arrested in Gjakova after he had hidden narcotics in the yard of his house.

According to the notification, it is stated that from the police data, the suspect has been arrested before (on March 3, 2022) by the Kosovo Police.

"Following the investigation by the anti-drug authorities on 30.04.2022, at 23:10 by order of the competent justice authorities in Gjakova, Kosovo Police has conducted a raid operation on the house and accompanying facilities owned by the aforementioned suspect and has revealed that the suspect in different places, through different methods was hiding the suspected narcotic substance of the cocaine type, which is suspected to have been used mainly for sale or internal consumption ", it is said in the announcement.

During the raid on the quality of material evidence in various places in the yard were found and confiscated:

• In the yard cylinders were found caught with magnets, a plastic package that serves for the packaging of vitamins with the inscription "Ca + year C", inside which there were four (4) doses

filled with substance in the form of white powder which is suspected to be cocaine type narcotic.

Also, during the control in the yard of the house, respectively inside the gutter that serves for the discharge of atmospheric water of the house, six (6) plastic packages were found that serve for the packaging of vitamins (magnesium) of the brand "Heilusan" which had placed magnets, inside of which were 225 doses, filled with white powder substance suspected to be cocaine-type narcotics.

• One (1) Ford type vehicle with local license plates, one (1) telephone and cash.

The competent prosecutor was notified about the case and the suspect was detained for 48 hours for further legal proceedings.

"Kosovo Police, its anti-drug units in cooperation with the judiciary are continuing to work through active operations, in order to prevent and combat the phenomenon of drug abuse and trafficking and to take legal measures against all persons involved in acts such criminal ”, it is said in the notification.
