Fewer servicemen and military equipment will take part in the military parade on May 9 - Victory Day in Moscow's Red Square.

APA reports that the BBC reported this citing figures shared by the Russian Defense Ministry on Friday.

It was noted that the number of both servicemen and equipment on display at this year's parade will be less than last year.

A total of 129 military vehicles and 10,000 servicemen will take part in the parade this year.

Last year, 191 military equipment and 12,000 servicemen took part in the parade.

This year, 77 aircraft are expected to take part in the parade, which is one more than last year.

According to the report, no foreign leader will go to Moscow to watch this year's parade.
