The coastal city of Saranda during April has attracted a large number of foreign tourists.

The director of the port of Saranda, Alket Qendro said that "760 foreign tourists entered the port of Saranda during April through cruises and tour operators operating in this port".

"The removal of pandemic restrictions and the gradual return to normalcy is bringing more and more foreign tourists to our country and the city of Saranda during this beginning of the tourist season," said Qendro.

According to Qendros, Saranda is expected to have a very good tourist season this year.

In the port of Saranda in April arrived the cruise ship "Silver Moon", 213 meters long and 30 meters wide, with 387 tourists on board and the flag of the Bahamas, the cruise yacht "Emerald Azzura" with 76 tourists on board and the ship "Ionan Seaways ”with 150 tourists from America, France and England.

Defined as the "White City", Saranda is surrounded by hills and in front of it is the Greek island of Corfu.

Apart from the sun and the beach, Saranda is also known for its history and culture: the castle of Lëkurës is magical, while the Butrint Archaeological Park is a curiosity for many tourists for its millennial history.
