Last night, a 23-year-old man was killed and another was injured in a shooting on the Klina-Gjakova road, ie in the village of Volljakë, while several people were arrested in the case.

Police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi, said that the injured people were first sent to the FMC in Klina, and then to the Peja Hospital - but from the wounds received, one of the injured died.

"At around 20:43, the police were informed that there were gunshots and it is suspected that they were injured.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that two people were injured.

They were sent to the Family Medicine Center in Klina, then they were sent to the emergency room in Peja.

"After a while, the doctor on duty confirmed the death of one of the victims", declared Gashi.

In addition to the police, two prosecutors from the Serious Crimes Department at the Basic Prosecution of Peja came to the scene.

Police are continuing the investigation, while it is reported that the person who died and the injured are brothers.

It is also reported that they were waiting in the parking lot of a restaurant on the road Klina-Gjakova where they were staying together with other family members.
