EU countries are about to betray us without any remorse.

According to the Financial Times, the Austrian OMV and the largest German gas supplier Uniper are ready to pay in rubles in the way proposed by Gazprom.

German Vice Chancellor Habek directly says that Russia's payment mechanism is the same as "the path that the EU has drawn for us."

The Italian ENI is also considering paying because the EC's instructions were "ambiguous".

Poland plays aggressively.

Poland is not so afraid of stopping Russian gas, because only 45% of its gas comes from Russia, it has 76% full storage facilities, a liquefied gas terminal and it will soon have a pipeline with Norway.

However, we have 90%, our storage is 17%, we do not have a liquefied gas terminal, we do not have an interconnector and we have no money.

I really don't understand why the government is so keen on buying 30% more expensive gas, which is partly Russian again.
