The issue of sending weapons to Ukraine must be decided by the Bulgarian parliament.

Within the ruling coalition, it is clear that there is a different position of one of the parties, but this should not be decisive for the existence of this coalition, as we have a governing program that marks the path we must follow and the principles and the policies we need to work on.

This was stated to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister for Climate Policy and Minister of Environment and Water Borislav Sandov

He graduated from Sofia University "St.

Kliment Ohridski, majoring in Geography, is questioning the future of the government in connection with the differences between the coalition partners on the issue of granting military aid to Ukraine.

He believes that there is no violation of the coalition agreement.

According to him, the government should not be held hostage to crises caused from outside.

Minister Sandov: Providing weapons to Ukraine means security for Bulgaria as well

Sandov described as an emergency the situation with the suspension of gas supplies to Bulgaria from Russia.

The Russian Federation, in addition to not recognizing international treaties related to the human rights and territorial integrity of other countries, also shows that it is not implementing trade treaties, he said.

Bulgaria is the object of trade aggression because a contract is being violated, and our country is a regular payer for gas supplies, according to the Deputy Prime Minister.

According to him, Russia is trying to influence the political situation in Bulgaria with gas supplies.

I believe that maturity will be shown in the ruling coalition, in the Bulgarian parliament, so that we do not succumb to blackmail.

According to him, a common European solution to the case should be sought, BTA reported.
