Bored Ape Yacht Club is one of the most popular NFT collections, which has recently been the target of hacker attacks.

The Instagram attack resulted in the theft of nearly one hundred Ape Yacht Club NFT boards, for a total of about 2.66 million euros.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (or BAYC) is run by Yuga Labs - one of the NFT's most mysterious collectives.

A vulnerability was discovered that allowed attackers to steal BAYC NFT from users' wallets.

During the operation, 91 NFTs were stolen, including four Bored Ape, six Mutant Ape and three Bored Ape Kennel Club NFT.

The attackers also stole other digital goods.

HereThere is no mint going on today.

It looks like BAYC Instagram was hacked.

Do not mint anything, click links, or link your wallet to anything.

It is pointed out that, regardless of whether users believe that Web3 is the future or not, everyone agrees that in this area there is a large number of scams, frauds and thefts.

Almost every week, people lose virtual goods of different values.

The reason for this is mainly that users are left on their devices in the Web3 framework and are often not part of any explicit structure.

NFT owners need to take extreme measures to protect themselves and their products.

Even reputable institutions, which have good sources of funding (such as the Bored Ape Yacht Club), are not immune to attack.

BAYC was also attacked on April 1 through its Discord server.

The IG hack resulted in 4 Apes, 6 Mutants, 3 Kennels, and some other assorted valuable NFTs being lost.

We will be in contact with the affected users and will post a full post mortem on the attack when we can.

For now I would like to stress that 2FA was enabled on the account.
