Taliban admits Pakistan guilty of attacks

Kabul:

Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar, Afghanistan's caretaker defense minister, said on Sunday that the Taliban administration would not tolerate any "invasion" from its neighbours.

This statement of Taliban came after blaming Pakistan for the air strike.

Taliban officials say dozens were killed in Kunar and Khost provinces. 

"A clear example of the problems and challenges we are facing from both the world and our neighbours," Afghanistan's acting Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad Yacoub said at a ceremony marking the anniversary of the death of Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar,

Reuters reported

. Their invasion of our territory in Kunar is "We cannot tolerate the invasion.

We have withstood that attack.

We tolerated it because of national interest, next time we cannot tolerate it."

Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesman said on Yakub's remarks that Pakistan looks forward to long-term engagement with Afghanistan to secure peace. And have been battling this crisis for a long time... The Pakistani spokesperson hoped for cooperation in combating cross-border terrorism and taking action against terrorist groups on its soil.

The foreign ministry of the Taliban administration last week called on Pakistan's ambassador to protest the attacks.

Local officials said 36 people were killed in the attack by Pakistani military helicopters.

The head of the UN children's agency in Afghanistan said 20 children were killed in airstrikes in Khost and Kunar on April 16.
