APA reports quoting BBC that Aide to the President of Ukraine Andrei Yermak said this in a statement shared on Telegram channel.
He noted that one of the dead was a 3-month-old baby.
A fire broke out in the building where the rocket landed.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called the incident a terrorist act on Twitter and called on Russia to take the necessary measures by declaring it a country that supports terrorism.
Ukrainian media reported that at least four rockets were fired at Odessa.
