MHT CET exam (MHT CET 2022) postponed, education minister gave information

MHT CET 2022 Postponed: 

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, MHT CET 2022) examinations will be re-scheduled, now this exam will be conducted in August 2022.

State Higher Education and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant said that the MHT CET exam (MHT CET 2022) will be postponed, he shared the information about the postponement of the exam on Twitter.

It is being told that Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2022 has been postponed due to Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2022) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) examinations.

MHT CET 2022 exam has been postponed till the first week of August 2022. 

Earlier MHT CET 2022 was to be conducted from June 3 to 12, 2022.

The Education Minister has informed about the postponement of the examination, but has not announced the new dates for MHT CET 2022.

Samant wrote on his Twitter post, “Due to JEE and NEET exams, CET exam will be conducted in the first week of August.

The dates will be announced soon."

JEE Main 2022 will be held in both the sessions 29 June 2022 and 30 July 2022 and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) will be held on 17 July 2022.

Maharashtra CET 2022 exam will be conducted after both these competitive exams. 

MHT CET is conducted for students seeking admission in BE, BTech (BTech) and BPharm (BPharm) or D Pharma courses.

This exam is conducted in groups- Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

The CET paper will be based on the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education syllabus.

80 percent of the syllabus of CET is based on class 12th and the remaining percentage of syllabus is based on class 11th of Maharashtra Board.
