Representatives of the Macedonian Trade Union Confederation (LSM) met this afternoon at the government to meet three demands, such as a salary increase of MKD 2,806 per public sector employee, the 13th or K-15 salary from 30 to 100 % of average salary and methodology for harmonization of other salaries according to the increase of the minimum wage.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Bytyqi, Minister Jovana Trenchevska, while the President of LSM, Darko Dimovski after the meeting said that there are positive signals and that the demands are argued in the government.

"We demanded a linear increase of MKD 2,806 for the entire public sector, including education, regress for the public sector and methodology for harmonizing other salaries according to the minimum wage.

"We stand by our demands and do not give up our demands," Dimovski said.

He stressed that the public sector includes the army, police, health workers, education and many other areas.

"The linear increase is a sign of solidarity or, as I say - from the cleaner to the president of the state, to receive all of them linearly from 2,806 denars", he said. / Telegrafi /
