At least one person was killed and several others were injured when a bus exploded in Bursa, Turkey.

Of the injured, one of them is in serious condition.

The explosion, according to Turkish media, took place inside the bus that had a prison guard, Telegrafi reports.

The cause has not yet been determined, but the possibility of a possible terrorist attack has not been ruled out, where it has been announced that investigations are ongoing.

The governor of Bursa, Jakup Çanbolat, told reporters that investigators found an artisanal bomb on an electric pole which was activated from a distance while the bus was passing nearby.
