The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has issued a statement regarding the discovery of ammunition near the Law Publishing House.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA that the 112 hotline received information about the discovery of ammunition at 76 Tbilisi Avenue, Nasimi district, Baku.

The Special Risk Rescue Service (SRRS) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was immediately called to the scene.

After taking appropriate security measures in the area together with law enforcement officers, it was determined that the ammunition found during the inspection was an F-1 hand grenade of a training nature, unsuitable for combat.

The ammunition was removed from the area by specialists of the XRXX task force.

No other dangerous or suspicious objects were found during the additional search at the scene and in the surrounding area.

A grenade was found near the Law Publishing House in Baku.

APA reports that the owner of the publishing house Shahbaz Khuduoglu said this.

He said that a worker cleaning the area around the building found a grenade: "The grenade was not used, as they say, it is" healthy ". We informed the Ministry of Emergency Situations, thank you very much, they came immediately."

The grenade was removed from the area by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for disposal.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the fact to APA.

It was reported that the ministry's pyrotechnics removed the ammunition from the area to neutralize it.

The investigation revealed that it was an F-1 hand grenade intended for training.
