There are over 20 thousand inhabitants but the citizens of Obiliq are missing some basic and necessary services.

This is because a notary office is missing here.

Citizens who face this problem are dissatisfied with this.

One of the citizens says that in addition to Prishtina, the municipality of Fushë Kosovë also offers these services.

Notarization is a formal fraud prevention process, ensuring that the parties involved in an agreement or transaction, that their document is authentic.

Officials of the Chamber of Notaries told RTV Dukagjini that they have repeated their request to the Ministry of Justice.

But, they do not know when the competition will open.

"We have problems with many municipalities, the request is known to have been submitted there to the ministry and the ministry due to the court decision it has received and now the ministry has said it will open a new competition.

How the ministry will act is their competence, of course we are interested in this procedure to be completed as soon as possible ", stated the president of the Chamber of Notaries Aliriza Beshi.

This problem is not only of the municipality of Obiliq, out of 38 municipalities that are a total of 16 of them do not have a notary office.

Albulena Haxhiu as Minister of Justice had canceled the competition for notary and then sent it to the Court, because according to her there was manipulation and nepotism within those selected by the test.

However, after almost two years, the Court rejected Haxhiu's appeal, calling it illegal.

The television is interested to know if there will be a second instance complaint on this issue or even if the competition for testing notaries will take place soon, but the office of Minister Haxhiu has not responded.
