The investigation of the woman who stabbed her brother in Astara has been completed.

The Astara District Prosecutor's Office told APA that the investigation into the attempted murder of Ilkin Ganbarov, a resident of Tengerud village, Astara region, initiated by the relevant article of the Criminal Code, has been completed.

The investigation revealed that the victim's sister, Nadira Ganbarova, born in 1986, attempted to kill Ilkin Ganbarov, who was asleep at the time, with an ax in the morning. .

Nadira Ganbarova was charged under Articles 29 and 120.2.9 of the Criminal Code (attempt to kill a person who was obviously helpless for the perpetrator) and was remanded in custody.

The criminal case was sent to the Lankaran Court of Grave Crimes for consideration.
