Alexander Nikolov has a Master's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy.
For the past few months, he has been an executive in response to a question during parliamentary scrutiny.
According to Nikolov, the interconnector should be put into operation on July 1 this year.

"The gas connection will connect the gas transmission networks of the two neighboring countries, providing access to the Southern Gas Corridor and a number of new sources of natural gas. The pipeline has a total length of 182 km, most of which is on Bulgarian territory," said the Energy Minister.
