Air India Salary was cut during the Corona period

During the Corona period, along with tourism, the airlines sector was also badly hit and Air India Salary Cut was also not untouched by it.

But it is a matter of relief that now the Tata group company Air India has started a campaign to bring the salaries of the employees to the level before the corona epidemic.

Air India is restoring the salaries of its employees in a phased manner to pre-pandemic levels.

This information came out from a document of the airline on Tuesday. In the last two years, the Indian aviation sector has been badly affected due to the restrictions imposed due to the epidemic and all the airlines have cut the salaries of their employees.

According to Air India, the flying allowance, special pay and wide body allowance of pilots were cut by 35%, 40% and 40% respectively after the outbreak of the pandemic.

According to the document, from April 1 this year, these three allowances are being restored 20%, 25% and 25%.


The flying allowance and wide body allowance of cabin crew members were cut by 15 and 20 percent respectively during the pandemic.

Both these allowances are being restored 10 percent and five percent respectively from April 1.

It said that the allowances paid to officers and other staff members were cut by 50% and 30% respectively during the pandemic.

Now the allowances of officers are being restored to 25 percent from April 1, while the allowances of other staff members are being brought down to pre-pandemic levels.
