Vienna, Berlin and Budapest oppose Russia's gas embargo.

APA reports that Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said this on CNN.

"Austria is not alone in this matter against the gas embargo.

Other EU member states are not in favor of sanctions against Russia.

"Sanctions should hit Russia more than Europe," he said.

According to the Chancellor, the European Commission and the European Council is now discussing a ban on the supply of oil.

But gas is another matter.

Because of the different countries in the industry depends on it.

It should be noted that the Austrian chancellor paid a visit to Moscow on April 11 and held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The meeting was held behind closed doors.
