Islamabad:

After losing the no-confidence motion in the National Assembly of Pakistan

on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday,

Imran Khan bid farewell to Pakistan.

With this, the clouds of uncertainties that have been going on for a week were cleared.

Now on Monday, the new PM will be elected in the National Assembly, the lower house of Parliament.

The new speaker has asked to file nomination for the post of PM by 2 pm today.

Let's take a look at the people who wrote the script to get Imran Khan out of power in Pakistan:

Shahbaz Sharif:

The younger brother of former PM Nawaz Sharif.

Has been the Chief Minister of Punjab.

His family has a lot of dominance in the politics of Pakistan.

He is currently the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Considered a strict administrator.

Revolutionaries read poems in their speeches.

He has been in the news for his properties, which include luxury apartments in London and Dubai.

The next PM of Pakistan with a population of 22 crores will get a crown full of thorns, will have to do two hands with these challenges

Asif Ali Zardari:

Coming from a wealthy Sindh family, Zardari had the image of a Playboy.

She was married to Benazir Bhutto, after which she became the PM after some time.

He is also named 'Mr. Ten Percent' in political circles because he allegedly took bribes from government contracts.

He has been jailed twice on charges of bribery, drug smuggling and murder.

However, he was never prosecuted.

When Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in 2007, Zardari, 67, took over as the co-chairman of the Pakistani People's Party (PPP).

A year later, he was also the President in the PML-N government.

Imran was 'clean bold' on the pitch of politics, the election of the new PM in the Pak National Assembly on Monday: 10 things

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari:

Son of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari.

At the age of 19, after the murder of his mother, he became the PPP chairman.

Bilawal, 33, who studied at Oxford, is considered a leader of modern thought.

He talks about the rights of women and minorities.

Half of Pakistan's population is 22 years or less.

Bilawal is very active on social media and is also popular among the youth.

However, he is also ridiculed for not having command over Urdu.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman:

Maulana Fazlur Rehman is the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Pakistan's largest religious party and Sunni fundamentalist party.

He has a great influence on thousands of madrasa students.

His party JUI-F never got enough votes in the elections to come to power on its own, but he has an important role in any government.

His enmity with Imran Khan is deep.

He called him a 'Jew' regarding Imran's marriage to Briton Jemima Goldsmith.

After this Imran also took a dig at him.
