Responding to Imran Khan's comments, Maryam Nawaz said that Khan "has lost his mind".

Islamabad:

Leader of the Opposition in Pakistan Maryam Nawaz on Saturday hit out at Prime Minister Imran Khan for praising India, saying he should go there if he likes the neighboring country so much.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) vice-president Maryam's remarks came after Khan described India as a "country with a great sense of honour".

Prime Minister Khan, in his address to the nation on Friday night before the vote on the no-confidence motion, had said that he was not against India and had many admirers in the neighboring country.

He had said, "No superpower can compel India to do anything against its interests.

They (India) are buying oil from India despite the sanctions.

No one can dictate India.

What EU ambassadors have said here, can they say the same in India?

Responding to his remarks, Maryam said Khan "has lost his mind".

Deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam (48) said, "If you like India so much, then go there and stop living in Pakistan."

This is not the first time that Prime Minister Khan has praised India, surprising the opposition parties.

He had praised India for its independent foreign policy only last week.
