An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident with a heavy vehicle of the armed forces, which was transporting migrants, is underway.

Yesterday the vehicle crashed.

Six of the wounded remain for treatment at the hospital in Burgas.

The strike killed two foreign nationals and injured 11 others in hospital.

Two Bulgarian servicemen who were in the cab of the truck were also slightly injured.

They are aged 42 and 23.

Svetoslav Todorov, Deputy Director of the University Hospital in Burgas, revealed details about the condition of the victims.

There were 35 detained migrants in the crashed military truck

A total of 35 migrants were traveling in the truck.

17 people were taken to the hospital in Burgas - 15 Afghan citizens and both military.

The condition of the victims is stable, Todorov said.

"One of the injured has a chest injury, three have spinal injuries, but there is no danger to their lives," said the deputy director of the hospital where they are accommodated.

Four of the Afghan citizens and both Bulgarians remain for treatment.

The military prosecutor's office in Sliven explained that the terrain on which the truck was moving was very bad.
