A 15-year-old teenager allegedly killed his father with an ax in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district.

He was afraid that if he failed in class 10 this year, his father would scold him and throw him out of the house.

An official has given this information on Wednesday.

Guna district superintendent of police Rajiv Mishra told that the police has taken this juvenile into custody.

He said that in the intervening night of April 2 and 3 in the town of Jamner, the teenager killed his father Dulichandra Ahirwar, who was sleeping at home, with an ax and also unsuccessfully tried to implicate his neighbor in the case.

Mishra told that the police had suspected this teenager from the very beginning of killing his father and on psychological interrogation, he broke down and accepted the fact of killing his father by hitting him with an axe.

He said that this teenager told the police during interrogation that his father used to scold him for not studying.

According to Kishore, a few days ago his father had told him that if he failed in the tenth examination, he would beat him up and throw him out of the house.

According to the accused, due to this fear, he got a chance in the night and killed his father by hitting him several times with an axe.
