If hotel rooms were to be designed using what the internet says are the latest decor trends - then they would look something like this, apparently.

A series of rooms - curated based on "the hottest interior trends appearing on the internet" - were discovered in a hotel by Argos and the visual inspiration platform Pinterest, "immersing guests in a world of inner inspiration and discovery".

Known as the "Argos Mood Hotel", the temporary hotel consists of six different "Humor Rooms", ranging from a "Luxury Room" with a gold accent to a strange "Games Room" for adults.

Decorated with 'fashion utensils and mobile furniture from the latest Argos product range', the concept hotel in London's Bethnal Green will be open to the public from Saturday, April 2 to April 4.

Not only that, but members of the public can also apply to stay in the trendy hotel overnight - and some will even acquire the content of stylish rooms.

A year-on-year increase in Pinterest searches for "luxury kitchen design", "luxury bedrooms" and "gold bathroom accessories" came together to inspire the "Luxury Room".

Deep green walls, marble tables and velvet seats add a golden accent to the room, which aims to create a 'refined luxury feel'.

Meanwhile, the Play Room - where "fresh and scary worlds collide" - promises to be the "embodiment of positive and youthful energy".

Inspired by Pinterest searches for 'adult crafts', 'adult sailor rooms' and 'adult cowboy-themed parties', it is packed with fun features.

Pinterest also chose a surge in searches for 'living room plants', 'indoor plant shelving ideas' and 'indoor plant wall ideas', which has inspired The Nature Room, a space of immersed in 'earthy color tones'.

These rooms, and others, are open to the public during the day on Sunday, April 3, and for free overnight stays from Saturday, April 2 to Monday, April 4, with successful applicants winning one of the five humor rooms trend-driven.
