Investigative journalist Hristo Grozev speaks about the death of six generals from the Russian side.

Ukrainians also talk about the death of Chechen Major General Magomed Tushayev.

The death of a high-ranking officer in the war is quite rare.

During the ten years of the Soviet war in Afghanistan, three Soviet generals were killed.

The United States has lost two generals in various wars over the past fifty years.

Why such an abnormal mortality among the Russian generals?

Colonel Vladimir Borodach, a former commander of the Mariinsky Special Forces, who took part in the wars in Afghanistan and Angola, told Svaboda.

"Brigade commander should not run in front of the chain"

The main opinion of the former soldier is that no one in Russia even tried to prepare soldiers and officers for war.

“On the eve of such company units, units should not come out of landfills for six months.

And I have a feeling that the military under the guise of exercises was sent to Ukraine for a "wedding in Malinovka."

Naturally, they began to beat their muzzles.

Management of the army does not exist from top to bottom.

Russian soldiers cannot accept even one all-out battle.

And this with such a significant advantage and cover from the air, "- says the former riot policeman.

Why are so many generals dying?

Borodach believes that the lack of communication, poor coordination among the Russian military, as well as good actions of Ukrainian intelligence are to blame.

"Russia has the means to communicate to fight, but when entering Ukraine, they themselves destroyed the towers that provided the Internet and this connection.

How could you deprive yourself of the means of communication ?!

As a result, commanders appear in places where they should not be.

Imagine that a brigade commander runs in front of a chain and raises soldiers to attack.

Of course, this should not be the case. "

"This is easy consumption for Bayraktars"

Beard explains how a classic military attack should be built and where commanders are in such situations.

“There is such a thing as depth of attack.

The platoon commander goes inside the platoon, the company commander is even deeper, because the command of three platoons, the battalion commander is even deeper relative to the front line - this is the basic conduct and control of the battle.

The brigade commander cannot be at the forefront with the platoon commander, as he must ensure the interaction of his units.

But without communication everything is confused!

And the battalion commander goes to the company and platoon commanders.

During the battle, his activity is quickly noticed, his jeep is determined - it is easy consumption for the "Bayraktars".

Commanders are easily calculated by intelligence, and the first blow is struck at the command post.

If the command is destroyed, the unit starts to run away or even shoot at each other. "

"Russian soldiers have low morale and fighting spirit"

Is it possible that the generals by their own example are trying to raise the morale of their soldiers, and therefore find themselves at the forefront of attacks?

“Personal example is needed at the level of platoon or company commander, but also only under certain conditions.

If you are shot in the head, it will not lift anyone's spirits.

Without authority, it is impossible to lead soldiers into battle - they simply will not obey orders unless they are sure that the commander will not abandon them.

Russian soldiers have a very low morale.

Where will that spirit come from when the guys are told - you will be greeted with bread and salt, but in fact they are killed there?

If there were no great casualties and losses, Russia's actions could be presented as a comic book, as a parody of the war. "

"These are gunmen, not soldiers"

The soldier believes that no one was ready for the war in Russia, especially for the long one.

“People cannot even organize the movement of troops, the provision of the army.

The generals sent people in different directions, but do not remember that soldiers need to be fed three times a day, and a car, tank or armored personnel carrier does not go without fuel.

And as an equipped army, they are some kind of gunmen, not soldiers, ”the riot policeman says.

One of the main problems of the Russian army Borodach calls the lack of clear understanding of why they are fighting in Ukraine.

“All officers are sobering up.

They understand that there is no excuse for their actions when they bomb cities and kill civilians.

Soldiers also begin to understand when they see burnt equipment, see the abandoned corpses of other soldiers being bitten by dogs.

In fact, soldiers and officers are forced to loot.

What are they dying for?

For a gold chain stolen from a Ukrainian woman?

It kills not only morality but also spirit.

It is difficult to live with such a state, not to fight, ”the colonel is sure.

"Ukrainians have motivation"

Vladimir Borodach believes that the Russian army has degraded due to numerous thefts and squandering of money in this area.

As an example, he says that the soldiers do not even have enough biscuits, and those that are, are long overdue.

“The whole tragedy of Russia is that one psychopath can destroy an entire nation with the help of a zombie box and several scoundrels that broadcast there.

My relatives in Russia believe in "crucified boys", and there are thousands of such boys in their heads. "

As for the actions of the Ukrainian army, the military evaluates them very positively.

“The quality of the Ukrainian soldier is high, but the most important thing is that they have motivation, they protect their wives and mothers, their homes.

Ukrainians began to respect themselves.

The people there came out of the psychology of slaves, they are fighting for their freedom, "- sums up Colonel Vladimir Borodach.
