A research team led by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has announced that a 207-year-old wreck of a 19th-century whaling vessel, Industry, has been discovered at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico.

It is a ship with two masts, 19.5 meters long.

The discovery was based on a satellite connection by a team of onshore scientists and a team aboard the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer, using an unmanned wired underwater probe.
