The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi stayed today in Izbica, where he paid homage to the 23rd anniversary of the Izbica Massacre.

Through a Facebook post, Krasniqi said that this massacre is just one of the evidences of the Serbian genocide, among over 400 massacres throughout Kosovo.

"On March 28, 1999, in Izbica, time stopped.

Death covered the village.

Serbian soldiers, police and paramilitaries spared no one.

From the youngest to the oldest, 147 unarmed and innocent civilians became the target of one of the most macabre crimes and massacres committed during the war in Kosovo.

"Among them was Dafina, still less than 6 months old, whose body was found 18 years after the murder in the mass grave of Petrovo Selo in Serbia," Krasniqi wrote.

The leader of PDK says that even today, 23 years after the war, the families of the martyrs, Izbica, Skënderaj, and all of Kosovo, are still waiting for justice for this cruel crime.

"We will seek justice eternally - just as we will live eternally with the memory and honor of our martyrs.

Glory, today and forever! ”, Wrote Krasniqi./Telegrafi/
