On March 30, 31 and April 1, a delegation from Kosovo institutions is expected to travel to The Hague to meet with some of the former KLA leaders being held in detention in the Specialized Chambers.

This delegation will be led by the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, accompanied by the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Saranda Bogujevci.

This is what Flamur Pireva, advisor to Minister Haxhiu, told the Telegraph.

"Together with Minister Haxhiu and Deputy Mayor Bogyjevci, will be the chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Adnan Rrustemi and MP Erxhan Galushi who will stay in The Hague in order to meet with people who are being held in detention," said Pireva .

He added that the delegation from Kosovo will meet with former Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi, former LVV WG Chief Rexhep Selimi and former OVL and KLA leaders Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj, as well as also with former fighter Pjetër Shala.

Otherwise, there is still no official confirmation whether the delegation will meet with former President Hashim Thaçi and former Speaker of Parliament, Kadri Veseli.

Minister Albulena Haxhiu days ago in the show "Përballje", in Telegrafi.com said that she has requested a meeting with all those who are being held in The Hague.

"I can not say for sure that he will meet everyone, since Mr. Thaçi and Mr. Veseli had refused to meet with representatives of the Ministry of Justice during a visit that the latter had had in The Hague," said Haxhiu.

Haxhiu stressed that however she and Thaçi and Veselin have post-war political problems, she appreciates their contribution to the war.
