Kosovo Police has announced that it has arrested a press, after the same for three days in a row had kept a woman locked in the house with her child.

"On 20.03.2022, around 16:00, the Police was informed that in the street 'Agush Gjoci' in Peja, a woman together with her child is being kept locked against her will in a house", it is said in the press release of the Police, Telegrafi reports.

According to the report, the police immediately responded to the scene, from where they took the victim together with the child, who were sent for medical treatment to the Regional Hospital in Peja.

The victim stated that she was kept locked up for three days by the suspect, against her will.

"The investigation unit at the Police Station in Peja, after an intensive operative-investigative work, today on 22.03.2022, managed to locate and arrest the suspect MD born in 1966. The suspect after the interview with the decision of the state prosecutor is "sent to police detention for 48 hours", it is said in the notification.
