US Vice President Kamala Harris has arrived in Poland.

APA reports quoting CNN that the vice president's plane left Washington for Warsaw at 08:00 local time.

The visit came amid uncertainty over the West's plans to supply Ukraine with fighter jets.

Harris did not comment to reporters before his visit.

The vice president will hold meetings with the Polish leadership in Poland.

An unnamed source in the US presidential administration said that during the week's meetings, Harris would also discuss a complex issue, such as the delivery of Polish Soviet-era MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.

The official noted that there are various ideas about the delivery of fighters to Ukraine, and all these ideas are worth discussing.

Harris will also meet with American diplomats, as well as Ukrainian refugees.
