The overhaul of the Azerbaijan crane ship with a carrying capacity of 2,500 tons belonging to the Caspian Oil Fleet of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) has been successfully completed.

ASCO told APA-Economics that oil and water coolers of main engines, pumps, air balloon fittings, sea water cooling and oil system pipelines, sewage piping systems were repaired at Bibiheybat Shipyard. repaired.

Faults in the electrical equipment were eliminated, sewage tanks were completely cleaned, and a crane unit with a capacity of 30 and 400 tons was tested.

The pipes installed on the helipads have been replaced with new ones.

The surface areas and the main deck have been cleaned and painted.

According to the report, the ship was lifted to the shipyard and the hydraulic control systems of the oars and rudders were repaired.

After the test, the Azerbaijan crane ship was launched.

It should be noted that the ship was commissioned in 1980.

Since 1996, towboats have been used to keep the oars and rudders afloat.

A decision has been made to ensure the movement of the ship in 2020.

According to the decision, 2 rudders and other necessary parts were manufactured and installed at the Bibiheybat Shipyard.

In addition, the paddles were repaired, the underwater part was cleaned and painted, and the technical condition of the treads and bottom fittings was inspected.

Also, ballast tanks were completely cleaned.

The ship was launched after testing.

The ship was presented to the inspector of the Russian Maritime Classification Society.
