Kharkiv:

It was not easy for Indian students to leave Kharkiv amid Russia's attack in Ukraine,

but with the tricolor (Indian Flag) it certainly reduced the danger for them.

In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, about 1200 students of the medical university were stranded when an alert came from the Indian embassy that all Indian students should leave Kharkiv immediately, even if they had to leave on foot.

At the time when this advisory came from the embassy, a large number of Indians were trying to board the train at Kharkiv railway station.

The students had made a video claiming that they were deboarded from a train and Indian students were not being allowed to board the train. They said that only Ukrainians were being allowed to board the train.

After this, when the Indian Embassy said that Kharkiv should be left in a few hours, it was a serious time for everyone.

The students who had somehow reached Kharkiv railway station while escaping the Russian bombing had a new challenge in front of them.

Most of the students were already standing with bags on their shoulders, tired from the day.

It was suggested by the Indian Embassy to visit three places.

The closest of these was Pesochin.

When the students could not find any vehicle to go to Pesochin, the Indian students gathered together to go to Pesochin.

Indian Tricolor raised the courage of Indian students.

Indian students walked through the streets of Kharkiv ravaged by Russian bombings, chanting Vande Mataram.

Companion asked a student making a video, where are you sending it?

The student replied- I am sending it to Delhi.

Indian students were also scared while passing through this route.

But he had full hope that the Indian Embassy in Pesochin would make some arrangements for his security.

The same thing happened.

When Indian students reached Pesochin, they got accommodation and security there.
