Paris :

Ukraine Crisis: French President Emmanuel Macron believes that "the worst period is yet to come in Ukraine" in Russia-Ukraine.

Macron's opinion came after about 90 minutes of talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

An aide of the French President said that during the talks, Putin expressed his intention to occupy the entire country. The assessment is that the worst is yet to come.

Russian President Putin has told him this.

,

This colleague said, 'There is nothing in what President Putin told us that is worth assuring us.

He showed determination to carry on with the operation.

This man said, 'Putin wants to establish control over the whole of Ukraine.

To put it in his (Putin's) words, they will continue the operation till the end to destroy Ukraine.

You can understand the extent to which these words are shocking and unacceptable.

During the conversation, Macron also urged Putin to avoid the deaths of civilians and allow humanitarian aid.

Putin said he was in favor of it but did not make any promises.

This aide said Putin denied that the Russian military was targeting civilian structures in Ukraine.

Significantly, on Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Russia's nuclear force to be on high alert.

Putin accused Western countries of taking "unfriendly" steps.

Russia has the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world and also has plenty of ballistic missiles.

It plays an important role in Russia's defensive system.

A few days ago, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that when Russian President Vladimir Putin is threatening the use of nuclear weapons, he needs to understand that NATO is also a nuclear alliance.
