Amit Shah said, "Trust us, we will talk to all Kuki organizations and all Kuki youth will be given a new life so that they can join the development of the country, hills and Manipur under PM Modi."

Shah claimed, "We have brought them (Bodo rebels) on the path of development and today no Bodo youth have weapons in their hands. Instead, they have motorcycle keys, industrial keys and laptops. He said that in the last five years the BJP government has worked hard to end the violence in Manipur and make it an ideal state and in the next five years it will be the best state in the entire region.
