Today, a delegation led by the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosso visited the liberated cities of Fizuli and Shusha.

The guests were accompanied by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, head of the working group on interparliamentary relations with Moldova Sabir Hajiyev and other officials.

During the visit, the delegation was informed about the destruction committed by Armenians in Fizuli, the destruction of religious and cultural monuments, as well as the reconstruction work carried out by the Azerbaijani state after the liberation of the region, the projects implemented.

A delegation of the Moldovan parliament visited Shusha after Fizuli.

The guests first got acquainted with the walls of the Shusha fortress.

They were informed that the fortress, built by Karabakh khan Panahali khan, protected the city from foreign interventions for a long time and was a symbol of inviolability.

During the occupation, the castle walls were subjected to Armenian vandalism.

After the liberation of Shusha, the fortress was repaired.

Then the Moldovan guests visited the Upper Govharaga and Lower Govharaga mosques, the Cidir plain, and the mausoleum of Mullah Panah Vagif.

The guests were informed that, like our other historical monuments, these monuments were subjected to Armenian vandalism.

However, the Azerbaijani state has fully restored them.

The visit of Moldovan parliamentarians to Shusha ended with a visit to the house-museum of People's Artist of Azerbaijan Bulbul in Shusha.

The guests were informed about the activities and history of the museum.

Thus, the visit of the Moldovan parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Gross to Fizuli and Shusha ended.

A delegation led by Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosso has begun a visit to the liberated cities of Fizuli and Shusha.

APA reports that the delegation will visit Shusha Gala walls, Cidir plain, Bulbul's house museum and other historical places.

The guests will also get acquainted with the reconstruction work carried out in Shusha.
