Ashwini Vaishnav traveled in Mumbai Local Train

Mumbai:

Traveling and interacting with the common people has become a new trend in politics.

It is also appreciated, but sometimes such VIP movement becomes a problem.

In fact,

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

traveled in Mumbai's local train on Friday along with many BJP leaders among common passengers.

He also took sips of tea along with enjoying Vada Pav, but his journey in the local train attracted a huge crowd.

All the passengers could not board the train and those who were already in the train also complained about not being able to get down at the destination.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Friday traveled in a local train to inspect two railway lines between Thane and Diva stations of the Mumbai rail network.

He also ate vada pav at a stall outside the railway station.

Vaishnav arrived on Friday morning for a program in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to digitally inaugurate the newly constructed railway line connecting Thane and Diva.

PM will also flag off two suburban trains.

The Railway Minister boarded a local train operated by Central Railway at Thane station at around 1 pm and went to Diva station.

The Minister interacted with the passengers while traveling in the second class compartment and also at Diva station.

Vaishnav was accompanied by Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve, Railway Board Chairman VK Tripathi and other officers in the local train.

Railway officials said that after a brief halt at Diva station, he returned to Thane in a special inspection coach.

Officials said Vaishnav ate vada pav and drank tea at a roadside stall outside Thane railway station. Platform No. 1 of Diva station created panic as a large number of people gathered to witness the ceremony, in which Ministers participated.

Railway passengers later complained that they could not board the train due to overcrowding, some others could not get off the train.

Local trains are considered to be the lifeline of Mumbai.

Currently, about 60 lakh passengers use these trains daily due to travel restrictions due to Corona.

Before the epidemic, more than 75 lakh passengers used to travel through local trains.
