Employees of the Drugs Sector - SDVR detained a 25-year-old man for possession and distribution of drugs, the press center of the Ministry of Interior announced.

More than a kilogram and a half of drugs were seized during the special operation to counter drug-related crimes.

After the detention of the man on February 10 in the residential area

"Student City", followed by procedural and investigative actions in the framework of the initiated pre-trial proceedings.

In a man-rented apartment, police found and seized a number of different cuts containing grass and white lumps and dust. 

The result of the expert report showed that the seized substances were 1,235.48 kg of amphetamine and 45.32 grams of marijuana.

The 25-year-old was brought in as a defendant under Art.

354 a of the Penal Code.

He was remanded in custody for up to 72 hours.
