Metropolitan Police in the UK are facing new calls to investigate the organization of a virtual quiz at No 10 for Christmas after a photo recently showed British Prime Minister Boris Johnson with an open bottle.

According to foreign media, the Telegraph reports, the image shows the prime minister surrounded by three staff members, one wearing a trinket and the other wearing a Santa Claus hat, at the event of December 15, 2020.

At the table in front of him - from where he read the quiz questions for teams across the building - is what appears to be champagne and a half-eaten pack of chips.

Johnson was accused of personally breaking COVID-19 rules by organizing the festive event after the year he left behind The Mirror reported it had happened.

At the time, London was under Level 2 regulations prohibiting companionship between two or more persons from different families.

The official instruction also said that work lunches or Christmas parties should not be organized, as it was a mainly social activity.

Just two days after the Mirror's initial report, the British Prime Minister said: "I can tell you once again that I have not broken any rules."

However, the Christmas event in the office is not under investigation by the police, unlike the events in No. 10 that are already being investigated by the authorities.

The events were mainly organized during the time when anti-COVID rules were in force in the UK.
