Two servicemen have disappeared in Armenia.

According to local media, Vahe Manukyan and Narek Mkrtchyan disappeared at different times at a post near Gegharkunik. 

Vahe Manukyan is a 33-year-old contract soldier. 

Wanted from November 12, 2021.

After talking to his wife on the phone, it was impossible to hear from her.

A criminal case was opened against him for leaving the position without permission 10 days later.

His family strongly disagrees with the accusation.

Because the circumstances of Vahe's disappearance are very dubious, especially against the background of the announcement of the Ministry of Defense on the extension of his term. 

Narek Mkrtchyan disappeared on May 16 last year in the same position.

A criminal case has been launched against him on the same grounds.

The investigation lasted about a year.

However, no suspects or accused were found.

The charges were filed only against the missing serviceman.

Taking into account all the suspicions, the families think that their children were killed and the military leadership hid the fact.
