Weather Forecast Update: Cold weather continues in Delhi

New Delhi :

Severe cold continues in entire North India including Delhi-NCR.

Today the minimum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 6 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is 19 degree Celsius.

Dense fog engulfed many areas including Delhi's Feroz Shah Road, Rajpath, India Gate on Saturday morning.

People were seen driving vehicles with lights on on the roads.

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 3 days, there is a possibility of dense fog during the night and morning in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

To avoid the cold in Delhi, night shelters have been made for the needy people.

20 people are taking shelter in the night shelter built on Lodhi Road.

The caretaker Raju told that facilities like blankets, bedding, TV and hot water are being provided to the people who have come here.

They are being given tea, breakfast and food 3 times a day.

Pollution has reduced the number of people visiting Delhi's markets and tourist places: Study

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in West Bengal and Sikkim today.

Due to a weak Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall over the Western Himalayan regions on 06 and 07 February.

On February 08 and 09, there is a possibility of light rain in northern parts of Punjab and Haryana.

In Himachal Pradesh, snowfall occurred in the higher and middle altitude areas of the state on Friday, while rain was recorded in the lower hills and plains.
