Russian and Chinese leaders Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping have signed a joint statement on international relations and global sustainable development, which has entered a new era.

APA's Moscow correspondent reports that the joint statement stressed that Russia and China are seriously concerned about the establishment of the AUKUS union by the United States, Great Britain and Australia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in China to attend the official opening of the Winter Olympics.

During the visit, Putin met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

Following the meeting, a package of documents was signed between the two countries.
