Samsung, by all accounts, has unveiled the most elite gaming monitor ever displayed.

Samsung Odyssey NEO G8 is a 32-inch monitor, which supports DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, Display Stream Compression (DSC), has a 1000R curvature and CoreSync brightness.

The monitor is characterized as the first in the world, which has a 4K curved screen (3840 x 2160 pixels) 1000R and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, with a response of 1ms (GtG).

The South Korean company notes that the newly created Odyssey Neo G8 uses Quantum Mini LED technology, Quantum HDR 2000 with a maximum brightness of 2000 nits and a static contrast of one million to one.

While the 4K 240 Hz refresh rates seem a bit excessive for modern games, the latest graphics cards are capable of offering a high refreshing game in 4K resolution.

Sasmung has not announced the price of the Odyssey NEO G8 monitor, which is expected to hit the market during the first half of 2022. /
