The motherboards currently support DDR4 or DDR5 memory, but one user has found a solution for this.

The user of the YouTube platform, which is part of the Asus ROG motherboard team, has published the video of his prototype charger, which enables DDR4 RAM to be used in the Asus Z690 of the DDR5 motherboard, Telegrafi reports.

Bing has announced that the prototype is still in the early stages and will certainly not be commercialized in the near future.

When Intel introduced its Alder Lake processors in November last year, it enabled users to finally get started with DDR5 RAM (if they manage to find this memory on the market).

However, integrating DDR4 into DDR5 memory means that the motherboard must be completely replaced - as the boards currently only support one or the other type of memory.
