The Venezuelan, Yulimar Rojas, is today the athlete most voted by the press after winning

the award for Best Female Athlete of 2021 from the International Association of American Sports Press (AIPS).

I love you and admire you! ", Wrote Rojas, on social networks where he expressed his joy at the recognition.

In the Olympics in Tokyo 2021, the Venezuelan wrote the most important chapter that the national sport has recorded in its history, after winning a gold medal, the fourth for the country, and

jumping to a dimension that jumper had never reached before some.

The Creole pushed herself up to 15.67 meters

and left behind what had been the record of the specialty for 25 years, the 15.50 of the Ukrainian Inessa Kravets in 1995.

World record and Olympic triple jump in Tokyo, Rojas also won the Diamond League this year, added the best record in the indoor specialty and finished among the finalists for the Best Female Athlete of 2021 award for World Athletics.

The Venezuelan triplist also became the Best Athlete in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2021 after closing the 57th edition of the Prensa Latina Sports Poll, where she received 73 votes from the 103 media from 20 countries that participated in the Survey.

With the obtaining of the award,

the Venezuelan is released in the historical list of the Survey,

in which her coach certified her name in the years 1995, 1997 and 2001.
