An employee who dies as a result of an industrial accident or occupational disease in privatized and transferred state-owned enterprises will receive benefits in the amount of the minimum monthly wage.

APA reports that the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev today reads: This is reflected in the amendment to the "Rules of Regulation".

According to the decree, an employee of the state enterprises who fell ill as a result of an industrial accident or occupational disease, or family members and other dependents of the employee who died as a result, will receive the following monthly allowances from the state budget instead of monthly payments:

- professional labor in case of disability - in the amount of the disability percentage of the minimum monthly wage (not less than 33 manats);

- in case of death - in the amount of the minimum monthly wage.

It should be noted that so far, benefits have been provided in the following order:

- in case of loss of professional capacity up to 29% - 33 manat;

- in case of loss of professional capacity from 30% to 59% - 44 manats;

- in case of loss of professional capacity from 60% to 79% - 55 manats;

- in case of loss of 80 percent or more of professional capacity - 66 manats;

- in case of death - the allowance was 77 manats.
