Covid-19: Amidst the threat of Omicron, 7,189 cases have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours. An increase in corona cases has been registered as compared to the previous day. A day earlier, 6,650 cases of corona were reported. At the same time, the number of people recovering in the country stood at 7,286 during the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 3,42,23,263 people in the country have been successful in beating Corona. Due to the continuous increase in the number of people recovering from corona in the country and less cases of infection, active cases are also decreasing. Active cases in the country have come down to 77,032. This is the lowest number of active cases in the last 579 days. 

Corona cases in the country have remained less than 8 thousand continuously for the last few days, but the death toll is not taking its name.

387 people have died in the country during the last 24 hours.

It is a matter of relief that the active cases in the country are less than one percent of the total cases, 0.22 percent.

This is the lowest since March 2020. 


Along with this, the recovery rate is also getting better continuously.

At present, the recovery rate of those recovering from corona in the country is 98.40 percent.

This is the highest since March 2020. 


The daily positivity rate in the country has remained below 2 percent for the last 82 days.

It is currently 0.65 percent.

While the weekly positivity rate is 0.60 percent, it has remained less than 1 percent for 41 days.
