A new strain of coronavirus (COVID-19) has killed 145 people in Turkey over the past day.

APA's local bureau reports that Turkish Health Minister Fakhraddin Goja said this in a statement he shared on his Twitter page.

The table published by the Minister on the new type of coronavirus shows that 357,536 people were tested for COVID-19 infection, 20,470 people tested positive for coronavirus, and 22,109 people recovered from the disease.

It should be noted that 128,349,256 vaccines have been administered against COVID-19 in Turkey so far, including the first, second and third stages, of which 91.49 percent were first-stage and 82.79 percent second-stage vaccines.
