Atal Bihari Vajpayee remembered on his birth anniversary

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday heaped praise on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, saying he was the only leader after former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who is admired by the people across the country and says 'Sabka Saath, Sabka'. The 'Vikas' slogan really suits them.

Raut has clearly targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi through his statement.

Prime Minister Modi took charge in 2014 with the slogan 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'.

When asked a question related to late Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, Raut told reporters here, "Atal Bihari Vajpayee played an important role in strengthening the alliance between Shiv Sena and BJP.

The line 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' really suits him.

Scindia family had given scholarship, then Atal Bihari Vajpayee had come to Kanpur to study, father had also become a classmate

The Shiv Sena MP said, "Vajpayee was the second leader of India after Jawaharlal Nehru, who is admired across the country.

Be it Nagaland or Puducherry, people everywhere respected Vajpayee.

Raut said Vajpayee and LK Advani were the two big pillars of the BJP, which helped strengthen the party across the country.
