However, this is what model Alexia Portman claims happened to her when she arrived at an airport in Croatia.

She said she had booked a flight at six o'clock in the morning to Milan, but when she checked she realized she would not leave until August 4, 2022.

Alexia said: "I realized that my flight was booked a year ago when I arrived at the airport and went on board the departure and my flight was not there at all."

By checking the 'email' confirmation of her ticket, which was booked in May, she quickly realized her mistake.

She told TikTok: “The way it happened was because my flight on this route was canceled once.

And they let me transfer it to a different day before or after, but in 2021. In the middle of the road I think they just canceled all available flights that year because the next date was August 4th.

I was like 'very good', but it was in 2022 ".

Portman said she had not received any emails about the flight but thought it happened because she had booked it into her father's account.

In the end she managed to arrive in Italy as planned, but said: “It turned out fine in the end.

But that was very stressful, I do not wish this on my worst enemy.

Never again".
