In Paris, during Fashion Week, the British fashion designer and wife of football player David Beckham - 49-year-old

Victoria Beckham

- held a show of the new ready-to-wear autumn-winter 2024-2025 collection of her eponymous brand.

But this time everything was against the woman, because practically before the show she broke her leg and was forced to move

on crutches

, and her long-awaited show was interrupted by the animal rights organization Peta.

Victoria's brand is famous for its laconic and everyday things, but also first-class leather goods, and this is what caused the protest.

Several women, wearing black pants and white T-shirts and holding placards reading "Animals are not fabric" and "Viva Vegan Leather", took to the podium before being escorted out by security.

Animal rights organization Peta said that while Beckham's brand has banned the use of fur and exotic leather in its collections, it still uses leather, including calf, according to CNN.

"No clothing or accessory is worth the cruel slaughter and skinning of a sensitive and intelligent animal," PETA Europe Vice President Mimi Bekeci said in a statement.

"We urge Victoria Beckham to instead turn to the ethical and environmentally friendly innovations available today, such as high-quality leather made from apples, grapes, pineapples, mushrooms and more," added Beheci.
