Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman was born on September 1, 1996 in Oakland, California.

Her parents are two teachers Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu.

In her hometown, her life on stage and acting began at a young age.

She practiced hula at the Academy of Hawaiian Arts and danced with Future Shock Oakland, a hip-hop dance group, according to her biography in Encyclopedia Britannica.


He studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and the Oakland School for the Arts.
